Surkanda Devi Temple Uttarakhand

Dehradun: - The Capital of Uttarakhand

Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand state, and it is also well known for higher education center. Dehradun is situated in the Doon Valley and at the altitude of 639 mts above from the sea level. The modern town of Dehradun was founded by Guru Ram Rai in the 18th Century. Guru Ram Rai was the son of Sikh Guru Har Rai who was the seventh Guru of Sikh Religion. Dehradun is one of the largest cities in Uttarakhand.
