Char-Dham Yatra is very holiest tour in India, in which four sacred places are come, in Uttarakhand State the four places are Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamnotri and Gangotri. As per the history those places was built approx 8th century by Adi guru Sankrachayra. According to many stories, it is a tour of way to Heaven or way to God, and also said that this tour release all the sins of people. Today 13th May the temple of Gangotri and Yamnotri are open and also many of visitors and tourists are reach their to visit the temples. This is the amazing moment when the temples are open with the name of god.
Yamnotri Dham: - As per the legends Yamunaji Prey to Lord Sri Krishna here. And as per the Holy books Puraan’s Yamuna Ji is the Sister of Lord Yamraj. There is 5 km trekking route to Yamnotri from the place Jankichatti. You can also take Pony, Palki and other. Yamnotri is situated at the elevation of 3293 mts. above from the sea level. Gangotri Dham: - After Yamnotri Dham you can visit the Holy Dham Gangotri, Goddess Ganga is worshiped here, it is situated at the elevation of 3048 mts above from the sea level. Kedarnath Dham: - The third Dham is Kedarnath Dhams, Lord Shiva is worshiped here. The temple of Kedarnath is one of twelve Jyotirlingas. There is 14 km trekking route to Shri Kedarnath Ji from the place Gaurikund. Kedarnath Ji is situated at the elevation of 3584 mts above from the sea level. Badrinath Dham: - Badrinath Dham is oldest Dham in all the four Dhams. And Badrinath Ji also known as the Bhu-Bakunth means the place of God. It is situated at the elevation of 3133 mts. above from the sea level. Badrinath Dham is well connected through roads transport therefore you can reach there by vehicles.
