Bageshwar District Uttarakhand

Bageshwar is one of the glorious place located in the hills Kumaon region of the Uttarakhand State. Bageshwar is also a district of Uttarakhand state, and its area is 1696 sq. km. The Districts headquarters of Bageshwar is also situated in the Bageshwar city. Bageshwar Divides the Kumaon and Garhwal Region. Bageshwar is lying at the confluence of holy rivers Saryu, Gomti and the latent Bhagirathi River. Bageshwar is a small town mostly dedicated to Holy shrine of Lord Shiva. It is also a smallest district in Uttarakhand. You can also visit the Baijnath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Chandika temple dedicated to Goddess Chandika, which are 15 kms far from Bageshwar city. So we can say that Bageshwar is a holy city and situated in the foot of Himalayas. The local language of Bageshwar is Kumauni, and you can also speak Hindi in local market uses. It is a nice place to spending your holidays.
